in articulo mortis

Been spending my free time going back to my artistic roots and working on hands-on art projects such as collage & assemblage. This piece is one of my latest creations.

Only used the computer to scan this - had to sharpen it a bit and make minor adjustments to the contrast - nothing more.

Materials used: old sheet music, cigar box, nail polish, acrylic paint, glue, metal wire, old tinted tin-type photo from my personal collection, faux blue bird skull, cornish hen feathers, real snake and cat bones (Important Note: no animal was hurt or killed in the making of this - they died natural deaths and the bones were purchased from a professional dealer)
