They had followed us into our waking world, casting long shadows across our blue skies. Sending chills deep into our young bones on the sunniest of days.

What would become of our new language? Would it disappear like so many others before it? Cast aside by its speakers as they left their old worlds behind, or would it be torn from us? Stolen away by raiding nightmares as they raped and pillaged our waking world. . ."
